CSC Scholarship China 2025

China has announced fully funded scholarships for international students for bachelor’s, master’s and PhD.The scholarship is offered by Chinese Scholarship Council.

CSC scholarships are one of the world’s most attractive and sought after scholarships that are open to all nationalities throughout the world.Students from all over the world are eligible for this scholarship.

More than 280 universities are included under CSC Scholarship.The scholarship covers all the expenses, accommodation and provides a monthly stipend of 3500 Yuan.

The scholarship program is intended to promote cultural and commercial relations between China and other countries.

Eligibility Criteria

Some of the requirements of the scholarship are:

The applicant should be an international student and not a citizen of China.

The applicant should be in possession of any other China Scholarship.

Age Limit

For undergraduates,the student should be under 25 years of age.

For master’s, the student should not be more than 35 years of age.

PhD applicants should be under 40 years of age.

Qualification Requirement

Minimum 12 years of education for undergraduate level.

Bachelor’s degree for master’s applicants.

For PhD degree applicants, the minimum qualification is master’s.

Benefits of CSC China Scholarship

Under CSC scholarship program there are three categories:

Type A

This scholarship covers all the expenses including registration fee, accommodation and monthly allowance of 2500 to 3500 yuan ( approximately 500 USD).

Type B

Type B is almost similar to type A except for the monthly allowance.

Students are given all the benefits except the monthly allowance.

Type C

Type C is a partially funded scholarship with little benefits.

Type B and C are comparatively less competitive scholarships than Type A.

If you can afford your living, you need promptly toi apply for type B and type C scholarships.

Required Documents

1) Complete application form. you can download the application form the official page of the university.

2) Attested copy of your degree and transcript.

3) Official physical examination form filled by the doctor.This form should be filled and sealed by a registered doctor of a government hospital.

4) CV written in English or Chinese.You CV should have an internationally accepted form as it is going to decide your candidature and your destiny as an applicant.

5) Obtain two recommendation letters from your previous professors.Reach out your professors and they will provide you two recommendation letters.

6) English proficiency Certificate. If you are going to enroll in English taught programs, you need to provide an English proficiency Certificate. IELTS or TOEFL are recommended everywhere, but if you have not taken these examinations, you can get a proficiency certificate from your institute also.

7) Research Proposal. In this document, you need to schedule your study plan. This is one of the most important and a must required document.

8) Passport copy or ID Card copy.

9) Approval letters from the university professors. It is not a required document, still you need to get acceptance letters from university professors. This will strengthen your application.

10) Provide your research papers if you have done research during your degree.

Application Process

Application period:

Universities under CSC scholarship usually accept applications from December 15 to April. The application time may be subject to changes. You can check the deadline of your desired universities by visiting their websites.

First complete your application online.You can apply for at the most three universities under CSC portal.

Choose your scholarship type.You can choose among type A, B and C.

Choose the universities you want to apply to and the programs you want to study in a particular university.There is no need of sending a physical application unless required by a particular university or agency.

Upload all the required documents and review your application.

Submit your application.You will be informed of your status on the same portal.

The results are out usually by the end of July.
