Institute of Science and Technology Austria Internship 2025
ISTA has announced announced internship for international students who have either completed their bachelor's or master's degree or currently enrolled in their degree with more than two years of the degree completed (Students who have completed at least their four semesters of bachelor's degree).
Internship Duration
Students will spend three months in Austria most probably from May 15 to September 15. Students collaborate with other students in research under the supervision of world class professors.
Students gain highly value research experience and wider exposure to different work environment, technical know-how and research culture.

Benefits of doing an Internship
Doing research at bachelor's or master's level i a great route to gain more research experience.
You get the opportunity to do independent or joint research.
Employers does not in any sector, highly value internship experience as shows exposure to research exposure and different work environment.
ISTA is an open and international culture with staff from more than 70 nationalities.
Internship Coverage
Fellowship students receives a monthly payment of 1150 Euros for the duration of three months.This fellowship is developed in cooperation with Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalization.
Travel Allowance
All ISTerns receive a travel allowance to cover the costs of round-trip transportation to ISTA.
Health Insurance
Austrian organization OeAd will help all ISTerns in securing health insurance for the duration of stay in Austria with the ISTernship .
Accommodation
ISTerns will be provided with subsidized accommodation on campus – in the ISTA-owned guest house, or accommodation in OeAD-operated student residences in Vienna.
